The games went OK because everyone form each team wasn't there. We played well with each team for a while and the fatigue of the day took over. We shared some burgers with the teams between games and got in some good innings.
Both 14 and under Classics teams took a break from tournaments and headed to Cincinnati for some softball and recreation. We found two teams from the Lakota Area that wanted to get together for a double header. We met with the Cinci Stars and the Ohio Gold Rush.

After the game we headed to a Holiday Inn. There we did some swimming and hanging out. Even with all of my best resistance I ended up in the pool with my clothes on. Nikki said, "It's tradition, Coach Beckham", and it was inevitable. You might as well give up" The water felt good. We had some pizza around midnight and crashed with the anticipation of having some real fun the next day.
We were up by 8:00 am and were one of the first people thru the gates at Kings Island. We had a great time riding coasters and rides and being with our friends. The parents that went all had a good time too. Thanks to everyone who helped drive and chaperone. The trip was a nice break for us all.
