10u Ohio Classics - Coach Andy Ety aety@avolve.net - The focus of the U10 Classics will be to develop the fundamentals of the game to provide these young players with a solid foundation to have a successful softball career. Dedication and a willingness to learn the game are necessary attributes that will be sought in helping this team reach a goal of playing in a National Tournament in or around the state of Ohio. A family and positive team atmosphere will be expected to allow these young players to be successful with the competitive schedule that will be played and to also enjoy the game every day they play it. The plan is to play in 2 fall tournaments, 1 winter tournament and 8-9 spring/summer tournaments. Outdoor practices are planned to be held in the Baltimore/Pickerington area.

Past travel ball experience is not necessary. Our focus is on finding athletic girls with fundamental skills that are looking for quality coaching to continue to develop their abilities and prepare them to play at a highly competitive level of softball. All positions are available and they will be selected based on abilities and best fit for the team's success. Will be playing the top level of tournaments with a goal of attending Nationals

Ohio Classics 14u – Coach Doug Mix classicpride@hughes.net - Team goal is to develop great fundamentals and learn the concepts of the game as well as the game within the game of softball. We provide a highly competitive environment with an emphasis on developing athletic and interpersonal skills while providing many valuable life experiences. Our goal is to be in the championship every week and to win half of those games. Our history includes the 2009 ASA “A” Eastern National Championship, the 2009 All-Sanctions WS Runner-Up, a third place finish in the 2007 PONY Nationals and a fifth place finish this year at the USSSA 13U WS. In 2011 we will transition into a college prep team and will ramp up our schedule to include the top tournaments in the Midwest along with an array of showcase tournaments. We plan to attend the ASA/USA nationals in 2011. We will begin to develop player profiles and skills videos and provide insight on the college recruiting process. We will return a core of players from this year’s team that will be augmented with 3-4 additional top tier players from awesome families. We promote a family atmosphere and make a strong commitment to our players and expect the same in return. Coaches will be Doug Mix – 14 years of travel ball coaching experience and 9 years of HS coaching. Assistant will be John Barker who has 9 years of travel ball coaching experience and three years of HS coaching. John handles the pitchers and catchers.
